Our 2nd Annual event, held in the East Village venue, China 1, was not only a chance to tell New Yorkers about the women Sewing Hope helps, but also a chance for our designers to use their creativity to support a worthy cause.
The energy-filled night was a smashing success, thanks to our amazing planning team, all of our volunteers and sponsors, and the 235 people who attended and gave! Through ticket-sales, the raffle items, and door donations, we made around $7500, which went to work immediately in the work of our Ugandan partners and the women and children they support!
